Your Microsoft 365 backup as a service includes immutable backups across your Microsoft workspaces, with Entra ID change tracking to speed up account‑level investigations. Your data is held in two different data centres with two copies in each, so there are four copies of the data held in an immutable fashion. We also provide point in time recovery, so if, for example, you need to recover a single email, we do so without having to recover the whole user or mailbox.

Why do I need a third-party backup solution if Microsoft hosts my data?
Our backup solution is an immutable backup, which is much more reliable than Microsoft hosting your data. It also allows for the data to be backed up in a different place, for added protection. Additionally, we offer free inactive users, unlimited storage and it is charger on a per licence basis.
What is the difference between Microsoft's native retention policies and a true backup service?
Retention helps with short‑term restores and compliance but it doesn’t create an independent, immutable copy. A true M365 backup solution stores separate, tamper‑proof backups with point‑in‑time recovery, aligning to your chosen retention and audit needs.
What is M365 Backup as a Service (BaaS) and how does it differ from on-premise software?
BaaS is a subscription service where specialists operate the platform for you, handling configuration, monitoring, updates, restore requests and reporting. On‑prem software gives you full control but places deployment, patching, scaling and testing on your team.
