IT Summit (Gosforth Race Course) – 7th March 2025
Trustack hosted a multi faceted event at Newcastle racecourse. Topics included security, Managed services, data loss prevention. Georgie Barratt, renowned tech journalist and former presenter of the Gadget show also give an inspiring key note. After the event our guests enjoyed a three course meal and some lively horse racing!
Ransomware Defence Evaluation (Newcastle) – 5th May 2025
We recently co-hosted an in-person event with Arctic Wolf – a big thanks to their team for the insights and hospitality!
We explored cybersecurity operations, human error risks, and breach response.
Attendees found it practical and engaging, with many asking for internal sessions to be delivered back at their own premises. Great to see so many teams taking proactive steps!
Copilot Readiness Workshop (Manchester) – 6th June 2025

Copilot Readiness Workshop (Newcastle Upon Tyne) – 19 August 2025
We gave attendees live demos, hands-on sessions, and expert guidance on preparing their organisations for AI success.
A highlight was when prize winner Brad Strutt MBCS generously donated his raffle prize to our partner charity, Tiny Lives Trust.
The energy and engagement throughout the day showed that businesses are ready to embrace AI with confidence.
Security Round Table (21 Restaurant Newcastle) – 21 August 2025
Commercial Director Phil Cambers and Technical Director Russell Henderson hosted an exclusive private dining experience at prestigious restaurant 21. Chatham House rules applied and allowed our guests to openly share their challenges in a relaxed setting over a beautiful meal and a glass or two of wine. Sharing stories is often the best way to learn from one another.
Data Loss Prevention in collaboration with Netskope – 12 September 2025
In partnership with Netskope, we hosted a workshop at Slaley Hall filled with insightful discussions on opportunities, challenges, and strategies around data loss prevention. A big thank you to Emilie from Netskope for leading such an engaging session.
The day wrapped up with clay pigeon shooting – congratulations to our top three shooters! We also raised £160 for Tiny Lives, a charity close to our hearts.

Participants stepped into the shoes of a fictitious organisation hit by a ransomware attack, exploring the financial, operational, and reputational impacts. The session covered ransom negotiation, cyber insurance, and crisis decision-making, giving attendees practical insights to lead their teams confidently through a real cyber incident.
